Mixed Number Calculator

Legal

Privacy Policy

This site is built to be simple, and its data practices are just as simple. Here's exactly what happens — and doesn't happen — with anything you type or click here.

Calculator Inputs

What Happens to the Numbers You Type

Everything Runs in Your Browser

Every calculator on this site — mixed numbers, fractions, LCM, decimals, and the rest — is plain JavaScript that runs entirely on your own device. When you type a number or fraction into a field, that value is read, processed, and turned into a result by code executing inside your browser tab. Nothing about what you enter is ever sent to a server, logged, or stored anywhere by this site.

No Accounts, Nothing to Save Server-Side

There's no sign-up, no login, and no server-side database behind this site at all — it's a static set of pages. That means there's no account record tying calculations to an identity, no history of past inputs kept anywhere, and nothing for anyone (including the site's own operator) to look up about what you've calculated. Close the tab, and the only trace left is whatever your own browser chose to remember, like normal page-visit history.

Local Storage

The One Preference That Persists

The single piece of visitor-set data this site keeps is a language preference, saved using your browser's own localStorage when you switch the interface language. That preference lives only on your device, in your browser's local storage for this site — it is never transmitted to a server, never linked to you personally, and disappears if you clear your browser's site data. It exists purely so the page remembers your chosen language on your next visit, nothing more.

Server Logs

Standard Web Server Logs

Like essentially any website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages keeps basic technical logs of incoming requests — things like IP address, browser type, and which pages were requested. This is standard operational behavior for any web host, used only for practical purposes like detecting abuse, diagnosing errors, and keeping the site running reliably. This site does not layer any separate tracking, fingerprinting, or behavioral-advertising system on top of that baseline — no cookies are set for advertising or cross-site tracking purposes.

Third Parties

Fonts and Other Third-Party Services

The typefaces used across this site are self-hosted — bundled with the site's own files rather than loaded from Google Fonts or any other third-party font provider. That means loading a page here doesn't send a separate request to an outside font service, and no font-related data (like your IP address, at the moment a font loads) ever leaves this site to reach a third party. If that ever changes for any service on the site, this policy will be updated to say so plainly.

Children's Privacy

A Note for Students and Younger Visitors

This site is an educational reference tool intended for general audiences, including students working through fraction and mixed-number homework. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — there's no sign-up form, no comment section, and no field anywhere on the site that asks for a name, email address, or any other personal detail. The calculators only ever process the numbers typed into them, and only inside the visitor's own browser.

Updates

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated occasionally as the site changes — a new calculator, a new page, or simply clearer wording about an existing practice. Whatever version is published at this address is the current one; the date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. There's no separate archive of older versions to track down, since the practices described here are meant to stay this straightforward going forward.

Contact

Questions About This Policy

If anything above is unclear, or you'd like to ask about a specific practice before relying on it, reach out through the contact page or email contact@mixednumber-calculator.com. That's the same channel used for general feedback and corrections on the calculators themselves, so questions about privacy are always welcome there too.
